As an Extension Educator, my primary responsibility is to teach others to teach useful and practical information related to my subject matter responsibilities. My teaching philosophy involves identifying subject matter that meets a need and taking hands-on approach to teaching the tools, concepts and materials most relevant to the subject. It is beneficial for learners with different skills and backgrounds to collaborate in tasks and discussions to reach a better understanding of how to teach and apply the subject matter.
